Texcel, Inc. Receives 2010 Boeing Gold Performance Excellence Award
Cleveland, Ohio, January 28, 2009 – Texcel, Inc. today announced that it has received a 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Texcel, Inc. maintained a Gold performance composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2009, to Sept. 30, 2010.
This year, Boeing recognized 558 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Texcel, Inc. is one of only 141 suppliers to receive the Gold level of recognition.
Texcel’s President, Herman “Bud” Atkins, states, “Texcel ‘s main objective is to provide outstanding customer service and quality of service as a value added enhancement in support of aerospace programs. We are proud of our team and the extension of services we provide in support of our customers’ requirements and share a common commitment to performance excellence.”
Since 2007, Texcel, Inc. has been supplying hardware acquisition services and information technology configuration support for Boeing IDS programs: Ground- Based Midcourse Defense, Future Combat Systems, SBInet, Environmental Control Systems (ECS), ICBM Integrated Cryptographic Upgrade Systems, and the Guidance Replacement Program.
